A variety of different options are available for the rental of hangar space on the Greeley-Weld County Airport, from T-Hangars to conventional hangars, to a simple outdoor tie-down.

T-HANGARS

All T-Hangar units available for lease are owned and operated by the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority.  Over 130 individual units exist on the airport, and represent several different price levels.  T-Hangar units range from $185.00 per month for some of the older units with less amenities, to $230.00 per month for our top of the line units for single engine aircraft.   

Executive T-Hangars are also available, which are capable of accommodating aircraft in the Cessna 414 or 421 size range, for $395.00 per month.  These units have electric, heat, and running cold water in each individual unit.

Also available are T-Hangar end storage units.  Some of these have overhead rolling doors that can accommodate trailers.  Rental on these units range from $60.00 to $85.00 per month.

Availability on these units varies throughout the year.  While there is generally a waiting list for T-Hangar units, quite often the individuals on the list are waiting for a specific type hangar to come open.  This means that it is routine for someone new to the airport to be able to get into a unit with little waiting.

CONVENTIONAL HANGARS

Several options exist for the leasing of conventional hangar space on the Greeley-Weld County Airport.  The Airport Authority owns several conventional hangars that are available for long-term lease.  Additionally, several tenants on the airport who have space available in their hangars make that space available either on a short or long-term basis.  Such hangars are able to accommodate from small single engine aircraft, to mid-size jets.  For options and availability, call the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority at (970) 336-3000, or email at info@gxy.net.

OVERNIGHT / TRANSIENT HANGAR RENTALS

TIE-DOWNS

Tie-downs are available for both overnight or short-term transient aircraft, or on a monthly basis.  Transient tie downs are available through the airports FBO.  The FBO, as well as the Greeley-Weld County Airport itself, also offer tie-downs on a monthly basis.
