Blue Sky Flyers is a flying club based at Greeley-Weld County Airport. Its emphasis is providing affordable, safe flying to its 60 members. The club owns four single engine airplanes—two Cessna 172s, one Piper Archer, and one Cessna 182—that provide members with a range of aircraft appropriate for cross country flying as well as basic and advanced training. All aircraft are four-place planes certified for instrument flight. There are nine flight instructors in the club who provide expert instruction at all pilot levels. Club facilities at KGXY include an office and a four-airplane hangar, so Club airplanes are ready to fly in all seasons. For information on how to join Blue Sky Flyers, contact Steve Trout at 303-946-3634 or Darrel Dilley at 970-590-6426.
